We have to thank GOD for what we have. We also give thanks to GOD for what we don't have. Today we may have, tommorrow its gone.

We complain, gossip because things don't go our way. Sometimes we just have to accept, and turn away.

Why was this pic taken after the meal with all the used plate and utensils strewn about?
Things might not look so grim with clean, nicely arranged plates filled with fresh servings of biscuits and gravy with green beans.

This family needs to feel lucky that it's 1940 and not 1930.

Uh....NO I don't. They could just as easily be atheist, agnostic or even worse HEATHENS (gasp). There's not one shred of religious propoganda in this shot. It's purely economic propoganda. Where's the cross? Star of David? Bible? Koran? Clear your eyes and look again Jimmy Swaggart.

Like nicholas said we have everything because of GOD. Without God none of us would even be here has anyone thought about that? We should be thankful for everything we have but we can't take the credit for getting what we have because God gives us the privalage to be able to get and have what we have.

btw Dave, I think it's clear everyone here was already thankful for their lifestyle. I think a topic like this is better suited at places where they need to be reminded of such things (Emo kids) :P
