| Bulli Gras 2012 Bulli Gras will be happening once again - FEBRUARY 10TH - 12TH. Two nights of camping at Galveston Island State Park during the Mardi Gras season. Some of us love to do the parades, the partying, and the bead collecting and others of us go just to enjoy the camping at the beach and quality time around the bonfire toasting marshmallows. Usually on the Friday night we cruise to Shrimp N Stuff for dinner and on Saturday we do a shrimp boil between parades at the campsites where it is $5 for those who would like to eat. I have the sites reserved. The park fees are $25 per night with a $5 per person/per day charge (unless someone in your vehicle is a Texas State Park Pass holder and then the per person/per day fee is waived). | SAAC's 6th Annual Freeze & Shine Sun 2/19 SAAC's 6th Annual Freeze & Shine to kick off the new show season!!! No fees, no judging, no trophies.......just VW's hanging out Sunday February 19th, 1PM rain or shine Lady Bird Johnson Park, on Nacogdoches rd. outside loop 410 (map to come) There's a large open field, a skateboard park and plenty of space for bikes. I'll bring the grill and can cook the food. BYODrinks, (beer must be low key) We need a few tables and canopies. Let me know. Lets keep it simple burgers, sausages hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, chips, etc....... post up if you are in and what you are bringing.... |
